At Scottish Stained Glass, giving back is part of our purpose. Through our craft, we support meaningful causes, community organizations, and charitable initiatives that bring light, hope, and healing to people’s lives. Supporting charitable causes and community initiatives for decades through our craft. Ongoing events and initiatives dedicated to advancing medical research and humanitarian aid. Partnering with organizations that focus on health, relief, and local community impact. Community Impact Supporting research, families, and hope for over two decades As a response to their nephew’s diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy and the urgent need to support research toward a cure, Gillian and Martin Faith established an annual golf tournament fundraiser to benefit CureSMA. This event has taken place in the Denver area every year since 2003 and has become a meaningful tradition within the Scottish Stained Glass community. Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a devastating genetic disease that affects motor nerve cells, gradually taking away the ability to walk, eat, and breathe. It is the leading genetic cause of death in infants. Over the years, the thousands of dollars raised through this local fundraising effort have contributed to critical research initiatives, including the development of the first FDA-approved treatment for SMA in 2016. Scottish Stained Glass remains committed to supporting CureSMA and advancing awareness, research, and hope for families affected by this disease. Those interested in donating, sponsoring, or participating in future tournaments are encouraged to contact gillian@scottishgroupcompanies.com. Transforming Craft Into Global Care Project C.U.R.E. is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to delivering life-saving medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world. Through this partnership, Scottish Stained Glass has been able to extend the impact of our craft far beyond our studios and into underserved regions where access to medical care is limited. In support of Project C.U.R.E.’s mission, founder Martin Faith sold a portion of his personal collection of restored antique stained glass. The proceeds were used to fund the shipment of a full container of critical medical supplies and equipment to underserved communities in Belize—helping ensure hospitals and clinics had the resources needed to care for patients. By transforming historic glass into tangible humanitarian support, Scottish Stained Glass proudly continues to contribute to Project C.U.R.E.’s efforts to restore dignity, health, and hope through global medical aid. Those interested in viewing remaining restored pieces or learning more about this initiative are encouraged to contact our team. Global Medical Aid Local Charities & Community Support We frequently support local charities and non-profit organizations across Colorado and Texas communities where our team lives and works every day. Over the years, Scottish Stained Glass has donated custom stained glass gift certificates to fundraising events, helping local organizations raise critical funds for causes that matter most to their communities.
