Release of Liability

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in stained glass and art studio classes (the "Class") involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

I am aware of these risks and knowingly and willingly assume all risk of injury, whether obvious or not obvious.

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the Class, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties or others. I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in this Class, am in good health with no known condition that might hinder my full participation, and will follow all safety instructions provided by the instructors. This contract shall be legally binding on me, my estate, heirs, assigns, legal guardians, and personal representatives.

Release, Waiver & Indemnification

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Class, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Scottish Stained Glass LLC, Scottish Art Studio, Scottish Group Companies, and their owners, officers, directors, employees, instructors, agents, and volunteers (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising out of my participation in the Class, whether caused by their negligence or any other cause. I agree not to sue, claim against, attach the property of, or prosecute the Released Parties for any injury or death caused by or resulting from my participation. I further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any such claims.

Safety Agreement

I agree to strictly follow all studio safety protocols, including: wearing safety glasses or goggles at all times during glass work; wearing closed-toe shoes; refraining from eating, drinking, or smoking in lead-work areas; thoroughly washing hands after handling lead or chemical materials; and following all additional instructions provided by the instructor. I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the Class without refund.

Medical Authorization

In the event of an injury, I authorize the Released Parties to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so, and I agree to be responsible for any costs incurred. I represent that I am in good physical health with no condition that would prevent safe participation.

Photo & Video Media Release

I grant Scottish Stained Glass and Scottish Art Studio permission to photograph and/or video record my participation in the Class and any artwork I create. I authorize use of such content for promotional purposes including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, the company website, Google Business Profile, email newsletters, and other digital or print marketing — at no compensation to me. I also grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display images of my completed artwork for portfolio purposes. I waive any right to review or approve the final use of such materials.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. If any provision is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain in full effect. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter herein.
