Stained Glass Appraisal

At Scottish Stained Glass, an appraisal is far more than a quick price check. Each valuation is a scholarly project: we research provenance in archival records, profile the original artist or studio, document condition, and calculate today’s true replacement cost based on current materials and artisan hours. That depth of study takes time and expertise, which is why this service is reserved for collectors, estate managers, insurers, and serious sellers who require a defensible, written report for significant works. If you simply need a ballpark figure, our appraisal may exceed your needs—but when accuracy, history, and protection matter, we’re ready to illuminate the full value of your stained-glass treasure with the same care we pour into every panel we create.

scottish stained glass denver martin faith

Founder and owner, Martin Faith, has spent more than 30 years in the stained glass industry growing Scottish Stained Glass into one of the leading stained glass studios in the United States.  His passion for the restoration of stained glass and the preservation of history had propelled him to focus Scottish on the restoration or large secular and relgions staind glass across North America.

Under his guidance, we make every effort to research the history of which studio or artisan created your original glass, when and where it might have been resold, restored, or if it has been otherwise altered from it’s orginal installation.  We then make a precise estimate as to what it could cost us to reproduce that piece today.  Below is a sample of the apprasial.
